Ford builds more versions of each platform than almost anyone else. That’s good news if you need a used 5.0 Coyote engine, a 10-speed automatic or a used EcoBoost turbo: low-mileage donors are out there, so you aren’t waiting on a back-order. The thing is that the match has to be exact. We clean, inspect and run every part before it goes on the shelf, and we record the donor’s mileage.
The model name alone won’t tell you what fits. A used F-150 engine can be a 3.5L EcoBoost, a 5.0L V8 or a 2.7L depending on year and trim, each paired with the appropriate transmission and wiring. Used Ford Super Duty parts are an entirely different matter, the trucks' heavy-duty drivetrains have far less overlap with the half-ton models. Simply provide the year, model and VIN of your vehicle. Our sourcing team will inspect the engine code, transmission type and trim hardware on any part before it leaves the building.
Order used Ford parts online or call us. The year and model get the search started; the VIN pins it down.
A specialist pulls the part from inspected stock and checks it against your VIN.
You get photos of the actual part plus the donor details. Nothing ships until you say yes.
We pack and insure it, then ship to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania or anywhere along the East Coast. Tracking lands in your inbox.
Engine codes, EcoBoost turbos, and why a half-ton part won’t always fit a Super Duty. Questions?
That depends on how it was built. The 2018 F-150 came with a 2.7L EcoBoost, 3.5L EcoBoost, 5.0L V8 or 3.3L V6, and each uses different mounts, wiring and transmissions. The eighth character of your VIN tells you which, and every used Ford engine we quote is matched to it.
Not in the drivetrain, usually. The Super Duty has its own frame, axles, brakes and transmissions, plus diesel options the F-150 never offered. Some cab and interior parts do swap over. Send your VIN and we’ll find the right used Ford transmission or part.
Yes, if they’ve been tested. Turbos usually die from oil starvation and heat, not age, so one from a well-maintained donor with known mileage is a good buy. We check shaft play and the housing on every unit. Displacement matters too: a used 3.5 EcoBoost engine takes different turbos than the 2.7L.
Yes, that happens quite often. Lincoln is Ford’s luxury brand, so some cars are shared: Navigator and Expedition, MKZ and Fusion, Aviator and Explorer. Sometimes it’s easier to buy a part from the Lincoln side. Either way, the part numbers match.
A long way. Thunderbird, Falcon, Fairlane and Torino parts come through our network, and so do some Model T and Model A pieces, including original emblems and trim. Stock changes week to week, so call before you count on something.
We see both. The 2021-and-newer Broncos are on a different platform than the Broncos Sport, so let us know which you have. We also acquire parts from vintage Broncos.
